Heard Around Town

I heard two women talking at Costco a couple of months ago:

One to the other: "My son's at camp and my daughter's a bitch....she's 15...."

Heard at the grocery store the other day:

"I bought these jeans two years ago. They're the only thing I've ever bought that was on sale."

Huh?

Clearly, you have no teenage daughters. (And the fact that you were one 45 years ago doesn't count).

I was not a teenaged daughter FORTY-FIVE years ago, thank you very much. Perhaps math just isn't your thing.

You really can't argue with the aging delusions of the middle aged woman.

Squay, I remember back in the day when you used to be one of my favorites.....
What a lovely memory....

With so much interesting and, yes, a touch sad, material to work from, you are definitely one of my favorites.
